West Kazakh Marat Ospanov State Medical University

West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov State Medical University is an important cultural, diagnostic, educational, medical, and research center in western Kazakhstan. The University has its own clinics, like a Dental Clinic, a Family Medicine Clinic, and a Medical Centre that provide high-level care. It was established in 1957. Today, the University staff uses new methods and modern technology in education and medicine.

The University offers postgraduate training in 4 specialties for master’s students, 18 specialties for residents, and 2 specialties for doctoral students. It also provides advanced training for doctors and nurses in 29 specialties and primary professional retraining in 22 specialties. The University has faculties, departments, a medical care center, a family clinic, a dental clinic, a scientific and practical center, a center for practical skills, a teaching and methodical work department, an administrative staff management department, laboratories, and other educational and scientific departments.
