On March 3, 2015, Irkutsk State Technical University entered a new phase and is now called Irkutsk National Research State Technical University (INRTU).
Today, INRTU is a university with strong traditions from the Russian engineering school, offering excellent education, scientific research, and innovative potential. The university has 10 institutes and 6 faculties, with over 18,000 students. All courses are taught in Russian.
Celebrating its 85th anniversary, the leading technical university from Tomsk to Khabarovsk embraces a new name, new challenges, and new future prospects.
The university’s mission is to provide high-quality, affordable, and modern education. It aims to develop science and technology education for graduates who can practically apply their knowledge in science, business, and entrepreneurship.
