I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University) is one of the top medical universities in Russia. It started in 1758 as the medical faculty at Imperial Moscow University. Sechenov University has been a leader in the Russian healthcare system, with many famous scientists and doctors who have made significant contributions to medicine.
Today, the university has become an academic, research, and resource center of excellence in the Russian healthcare system. It focuses on developing the “Medicine of the Future,” combining strong clinical medicine foundations with advanced multidisciplinary research.
